Miami Forum
Miami, FL

A coalition built to make Miami's momentum last.

Miami has attracted extraordinary capital and companies. What it has lacked is a durable institution that binds them together. The Miami Forum is that institution: a small, serious coalition of leaders committed to Miami for the long term, and willing to shape it together.

Why Miami needs an institution, not just momentum

Miami has attracted capital and world class companies. What it lacks is a durable institution that binds them. The Miami Forum is built to be that institution. The goal is simple: a partnership where companies, and the people behind them, feel genuinely rooted in Miami and invested in its future.

What It Is

Built by Its Founding Partners

The Miami Forum is an invitation only coalition of founding organizations at the intersection of artificial intelligence, infrastructure, energy, finance, and entrepreneurship. Founding partners help shape the Forum's priorities, agenda, and direction from day one, with a seat at the table alongside the people defining what Miami's next chapter looks like. It carries one bylaw: a mutual non-poaching agreement between partner organizations.

Why Now

Momentum Is Not Enough

Miami has momentum. It does not yet have permanence. Talent and capital surged here in 2020 and 2021, but much of it left because the ecosystem lacked the depth and institutions to hold it. The next few years will determine whether Miami builds a durable innovation economy or lets another moment pass. The window to turn momentum into permanence is now.

Four Areas of Focus

Recurring, cross company programs that build Miami, and every founding partner, at once

1.0

Convening

Cross company relationships with Miami's defining leaders, built through curated gatherings, not conferences.

2.0

Talent Retention and Signaling

Strengthen retention, signal Miami's credibility as a long-term career market, and increase the flow of exceptional talent into the city.

3.0

Civic Presence

Collective civic presence and philanthropic impact, embedding partners in Miami's leadership class.

4.0

Storytelling

Co-authorship of Miami's innovation narrative, told by the people building it.

How It Works

Phase 1: all company convenings, then everything else follows

The foundation is the Forum Session: a curated gathering held monthly, open to employees across every partner organization, with participation driven by interest rather than title or tenure. Expect speakers and conversations you would not typically have access to. The format and venue rotate. The quality of the room does not.

Once that foundation is proven, the Forum plans to expand into health and wellness programming and civic engagement.

50+

Seats reserved for Forum members at every session, first come, first served.

1

Host at a time. Hut 8 will host the first few sessions, with duties rotating among founding partners over time, if desired.

Session 01 · October 13, 2026

Miami: Then, Now and Next

An evening with Mayors Francis Suarez and Xavier Suarez, alongside author Nicholas Griffin, moderated by Asher Genoot, CEO of Hut 8, exploring the forces that shaped modern Miami and what comes next.

The conversation examined two defining inflection points in the city's history: Miami before and after 1980, and before and after COVID-19. Griffin's The Year of Dangerous Days chronicles a city tested by racial unrest, the drug trade, and mass migration in 1980, setting the stage for a broader discussion on how Miami evolved, how its identity changed, and how the Suarez administrations helped shape its trajectory on the national and global stage.
